ABOUT US

Larson’s is a family-owned business that has been serving the needs of outdoor enthusiasts since the early ‘80s!

We have the gear you need to have fun on the snow and water, whether you ski, snowboard, windsurf or stand-up paddleboard -- and we don’t just sell the gear, we use it ourselves! That means we can give you advice about what equipment will be just right for you.

Larson’s is conveniently located just south of I-70 on Kipling Street, right on your way to the mountains. Call 303-423-0654 or e-mail us at info@larsonsport.com to buy new toys or have your questions answered!

OUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY
We believe that doing business with us should be easy. We want to help make the sports that we're passionate about available to anyone and everyone who would like to participate, whether you're a never-ever or a seasoned pro. It's why we value making gear available at every price point, from an $30 daily rental to a full ski set-up for $1500+ and everything in between. We follow common-sense business practices and believe in treating our customers the way we like to be treated when we're customers.

OUR HISTORY

In January of 1984, at 21 years old, John Marriott bought the small local ski shop he'd been working at for the past four years. In partnership with his parents, Joanne and Marshall, and later his sister Karen, he has now been at the helm of Larson's for over 35 years. After operating out of a strip mall for 7 years, in 1991 John purchased a building that had been the home of a bar and dance club. He spent the next three months running the existing shop during the day and renovating the new space himself at night and on the weekends. Larson's moved to its new home in early 1992, and we've been here ever since.

OUR CREW
Larson's has always been a family owned and operated business, and our employees are a part of that family. We believe in an inclusive work-place that values the unique strengths each of our employees bring to the table, whether they're a 16-year-old working a part-time job while going to high school or a seasoned vet with decades of experience in the ski industry. If you're a Denver-area local, come in and chat with us - we all work here because we love these sports, we love talking about these sports, and we love helping others participate in these sports.

OUR SHOP
Nope, our shop is not a concrete and metal marvel of modern architecture, but this old building is packed to the gills with the newest gear - we have one of the biggest selections of skis in the Denver area. And it's always better to BE good than LOOK good, right?!
