We believe that for certain days on the hill wearing a puffy coat is the best option for warmth. The problem before FlyLow starting making puffies, is that mountaineering puffy coats were made to be worn at high elevations where moisture is not an issue. Those puffies were made for mountaineering. On the other side of the spectrum, puffies made by snowboard and ski apparel companies were note made to actually move and break a sweat in. The result of these problems was the creation of the BA Puffy Coat. This jacket uses waterproof /breathable nylon ripstop fabric to keep the wet stuff out, but also has 15” pit zippers to cool you down at the bottom of a run or on a quick boot pack. The jacket is seam taped and uses Thinsulate™ Micro Puff insulation to keep the jacket super warm and pretty darn packable. Top this off with a hood that fit over a ski helmet, and you will be satisfied with every aspect of this coat.
