A new ski from Dynastar, the all-mountain Glory 89 borrows design elements from both freeride skis and frontside carvers. It’s an all-purpose ski that feels stable underfoot and moves well from hardpack to powder and back again. A five-point sidecut includes a wide tip, wider forebody, 89mm waist and a scalloped pin tail, reportedly lending edge grip on groomers as well as the ability to smear in soft snow. The core is constructed out of lightweight paulownia and fiberglass. The tips and tails have moderate rocker and the sidewalls run the full length of the ski.
