The Volkl Blaze is geared towards people who are looking for a light ski that doesn't compromise on performance. Built with a more aggressive sidecut than most touring-specific skis for better edge hold when the snow gets a bit more choppy, but with enough rocker up front to float in some softer stuff, the Blaze aims to provide the best of both worlds between uphill and downhill performance.
